What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Media

If profiles, user logins and image uploads are enabled and you upload images to your profile you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Anyone viewing your images can download and extract any location data from those images.

Cookies

When you visit the site, we set temporary cookies to save your session data. These cookies contain no personal information and are kept until you close your browser. They are not tracking cookies and have no ability to gather any information from your browser other than general technical information on the browser you are using to allow for browser specific code in displaying pages.

Embedded content from other websites

Profiles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. images, links, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

How long we retain your data

If you create a profile, your profile and its metadata are retained indefinitely.

For users that register in PsychoStats, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username), unless user logins are subsequently disabled. PsychoStats users with administrator accounts can see and edit that information at any time.

PsychoStats users with administrator accounts can also view the SteamID and IP numbers of anyone that connects to the game server the logs are taken from. This information is necessary for game server and PsychoStats administration. For Steam games where players have a SteamID, the player's stat page may include a link to that player's public Steam profile page.

This is covered by the Steam Privacy Policy Agreement provided by Valve.

You can view that Privacy Policy Agreement here.
